Hardcore Minis is now selling AXO motocross gear. I wanted to try out the new AXO Slammer pitbike boots and couldn't find a dealer so I could try them on. I called AXO to find a dealer and after some discussion with the rep, we are now a dealer selling any of the AXO motocross, pitbike and streetbike gear focusing on the Slammers. They are the best pitbike boot out there if you like the support of a motocross boot but want it in a shorter style. Check out the link in the links section to see what is available. The Hardcore Minis crew is heading down to the annual Minimoto Supercross race. It is the biggest pitbike race in the world and every year we make our way down to Vegas to race. We all have the cool new HMI Vegas edition graphics kits on our bikes. Check back for a full trip report when we get back. It is going to be a great time! Wish us luck!

The Edmonton Motorcycle Show was in town on the weekend of January 13th. On Saturday night there was an after show party at Bar Wild on Whyte Ave and Brody (the manager of Bar Wild) asked Hardcore Minis to bring in some bikes to put on display. There were a few other bikes there too like a Yamaha R6 streetbike modified for stunt riding that also had about 2000 ice studs in the tires and a brand new Suzuki RMZ 450 from Riverside Yamaha/Suzuki. It was a fantastic time that led until the early hours on Sunday morning. A special thanks to Chris at Riverside and Brody at Bar Wild for inviting us to participate!

Vern Hardie is building a supercross style minibike track just East of Edmonton in the spring of 07. Check back to see when it is done. We will let you know!

Vern Hardie and Brian Hanes drove 29 hours straight to get to the Fast 50s World Minibike Championships in Hollister Hills California. On the way they stopped at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Wow, what an awesome sight! It was like standing on ice but with pavement like traction.

Both riders placed mid pack in the races. After race day they stopped at Craig Mason's house (owner of Fast50s)to relax and work on bikes for a couple days. The guys were able to visit the shop that does all of Fast 50s anodizing. It was cool to see the whole process. Vern decided to get a set of Fast 50s Flame billet wheels anodized blue for the Hardcore Minis race bike. It was 28 degrees celsious the morning they left California, it was -5 degrees the next morning when they got to Lethbridge! See some pictures from the event and the trip in the gallery section.

Plans are now being made for the annual trip to the Minimoto Supercross race in Las Vegas in May 2007, it is going to be a great trip!
